She is hiking the highest mountain in Taiwan soon, won a Chinese storytelling contest from her district, is learning calligraphy, and will be returning in July.
· Levi Russell introduced Anna Cummins, the upcoming Outbound Youth Exchange student, from Inspire School of the Arts and Sciences. She is 17 and pursuing art. She moved here from the suburbs of Chicago so her dad could work at Chico State. She took a world history class her sophomore year in which her teacher, Mrs. Travers, talked about how world travel had really had an impact on her life. Anna studies French and loves learning about different cultures. She found out she will be going to France.
· Evan Tuchinsky gave an update on Team Esplanade. They had a social and a spruce-up work day at the Stansbury House recently, plan to partake in hatchet-throwing, will attend fundraiser at Secret Trail Brewing Company, and are really looking forward to St. Patrick’s Day festivities at Rose Krepelka’s home.
· Jolene Francis won the Club Trivia contest, having remembered (from her husband's presentation) that Chico Noon Rotary began meeting Tuesdays at noon in the first summer, specifically July 1921.
