Ceres Park Project

Ann Willmann has worked in recreation since she was 16 years old. In the late 80’s she worked at the afterschool CARD program while she attended Chico State. She returned to CARD again in 2006 as a Recreation Supervisor. In 2013, she left CARD to become the General Manager of the Feather River Recreation and Park District. In 2015, the General Manager position opened in Chico and she saw it as an opportunity to come home. She has now been the GM for almost 5 years.

Ann strongly believes that every community deserves a quality Parks and Recreation Department and she is proud of the team she works with to provide these services in Chico.

· February 1: Paradise Rotary Crab Feed, 5:30 p.m., Elks Lodge.

· March 14: Chico Sunrise St. Patrick’s Day Gala, 5:30 p.m. at Chico State's BMU.

· April 4: Spring Work Day at Centennial Park.

· April 14: Centennial Kickoff Event, speaker will be Rotary International Trustee Jennifer Jones.

· May 3: Omelet Brunch. President Glen said that this is a vital event, and he expects all hands on deck.

· Val Reddeman correctly answered the trivia question, earning herself a free raffle ticket.

· Michelle Genova earned her Green badge (JAR)

· President Glen Eaton showed an updated Polio minute showing the results of our hard efforts.

Program

Emcee, Dick Stein put on a nail-biting comedic unveiling of our President elect-elect, calling up one by one the potential leaders of our Club. Les Heringer was quickly dismissed for being to "boring", followed by a red-faced Sima Saboury.

Rob Reddeman and Mark Pierce were also sent away after a brief interrogation, leaving Cindy Foor to face allegations that she was once a bell thief.

Cindy safely made it back to her seat leaving Charles Kyle and Tom Hughes. Stalking the crowd for comments and dragging out the suspense, Dick mercifully announced our President elect-elect will be none other than Charles Kyle!

And joining the 2021 leadership team as Secretary will be Heidi Musick.
