• Aug. 12-18: The Chico Air Museum will host the Homecoming of Sentimental Journey; announcement made by Dino Corbin.

• Oct. 16: District 5160 Fall Seminar in Redding
• Mark Francis spoke about the coming 100th Chico Rotary year. He reported that a new project is in the works with CARD, which has embraced the Ceres Park proposal. He also was excited to mention a speaker will be coming from Canada to present to us at our kickoff event.Jennifer Jones owns a TV production company and is a very high profile Rotary International leader. The date has been set for 4/14/2020.
New Member Induction
Brett Sanders spoke about new club member Devin Tarr. Devin graduated from CSU in 2009 with a BA in History, then in 2012 received a Master’s in International Languages. His wife, Stephanie, was there; between them they have 4 children. President Glen welcomed Devin to the club.

Fine Time and Recognition
Dan Andreasen (12 Bells) is the proud owner of a new Grandchild! Congrats to the Andreasen family. His new building is coming along, will be moving in soon.
Alberta Simic (5 Bells) celebrated 60 years of marriage, She is happy her grandson will be attending Cuesta College in SLO, and she will be spending time with her granddaughter, too.
John Rhein (5 Bells) added dding to his list of grandchildren with Elizabeth Grace! She is two months old, and John’s wife, Traci, decided to finally come back home!
Dana Campbell (8 Bells) absolutely loves being an attorney!!! Turning 61 -- Congrats Dana! -- she has another rafting trip planned.
Raffle
The pot was $418, and the ticket was owned by Dan Andreasen. A crowd in the back cheered the result of his card pick when they chanted “L O S E R!!”
