· Charlotte Hall made a special presentation about March 9 birthdays to set up the Cruise Captains' celebration of President Glen's 60th. Charlotte let us knew he has spent 19.99 years of his life sleeping and that aluminum cans were first used the year Glen was born.
· Trivia question: The first club with women members was Duarte in 1978, though Katy Thoma found in the 1910s a women-only club stood alongside the Duluth, Minn, Rotary Club, so she made the drawing as well. Mike Mays had name drawn from the successful responses.
· Rotarians got to know more about Rotoracters via a series of questions. Their club has 30 members, which would make it one of the biggest Rotary Clubs in the District!
Rotaract has service projects and its own meetings; speakers have included Nancy Mendonca, Devin Potter, Katy Thoma, Matt York and Rob Reddemann. Up- coming service: the Shoebox Project, a Paradise Jr/Sr High cleanup, a Habitat for Humanity home build and Bidwell Mansion volunteering. Know a potential member? Gabe says the five-year goal for growth is 100 members!

Build.com President Devin Van Hout gave insight into his company's vision, mission and future. He's a Chico State graduate, and 600 of Build's 700 employees are based here in Chico. Build differentiates itself from competitors with quality of products and customer service, versus bargain-chasing. He said the company is on track to pass its 2019 sales figures and hit the goal for 2020 of $1 billion.
