Chico Rock Walls

Fourth-generation Chicoan who was raised on a local ranch and farm, Debbie is concerned that our local rock walls/fences will disappear completely due to vandalism and theft, and result in the loss of precious historic treasures.

She started a local group, Respect The Walls, in an effort to gain protection by achieving listing on Chico’s Historic Registry.
Respect The Walls has adopted Old Humboldt Wagon Road in an attempt to raise public awareness and reclaim the area, which is home to irreplaceable wagon ruts and rock walls.
